Ben surprised this little guy basking on the threshold to our living room. He jumped into Ben’s shoe, and I promptly scooped it up to examine him.

He’s welcome to come back inside and eat bugs, but I ushered him out for now to where he’s less likely to be stepped on.

Some surprise houseguests are more welcome than others.
